VisuoPrime home edition is a vision therapy software to treat eye problems such as amblyopia (lazy eye), strabismus (squint), vergence problems like convergence Insufficiency, depth perception issues, focusing problems and suppression at home.

Your eye doctor will diagnose your problems and prescribe the therapy accordingly. You can practice the therapy at home. Your progress at home will be monitored and guided by your doctor. Doctors can change the parameter levels and the therapies as and when required.

How does it work?


VisuoPrime home edition is a doctor driven program to help patients to overcome their binocular problems.



For Doctors

  • Web application
    • Doctors add patients for his hospital / clinic.
    • Doctor will diagnose the patient's eye problems.
    • The doctor will then prescribe therapy based on the patient's eye problems.
    • They can refine the therapy parameters based on performance of each patient.
    • They can see patient's performance, daily activity reports and proceed accordingly
    • They can manage his therapist account, who don't have credit transfer access
  • Therapy application
    • Doctor has full access to Practice session, which can be used for Demo purpose.




For Patients

  • Web application
    • They can check their credit balance
    • They can see their Prescriptions prescribed for them.
    • Their performance, and daily activity reports can be viewed here.
  • Therapy application
    • Login with same username and password used for web application.
    • Latest Credit balance can be in Home page.
    • They have full access to Therapy and Practice session page.
    • Therapy session is controlled as per the prescription.
    • Practice section can be used for learning the correct way of doing the therapy.

Amblyopia Step I

Amblyopia: Monocular

Monocular therapies: Good eye of the patient is occluded and the therapy is done for the affected eye.

Amblyopia Step II

Amblyopia: MFBF

Monocular fixation in binocular field: Patient wears a red blue glass and contents of the therapy are projected in such a way that the patient views the target with the amblyopic eye and the background with the fellow eye.

Anti-Suppression

This procedure is designed in such a way that patient can complete the task only when he uses both the eyes. This is to eliminate suppression.

Here the patient's capacity to adjust the focusing abilities of his eyes is trained.

The patient has the problem in converging or diverging the eyes appropriately, when the target moves close and far respectively. This may result in eyestrain, headaches, double vision etc.
